I feel like I could get better nachos at a gas station. The quesadilla was eh and the burger made my boyfriend spew. Definitely never coming back.

Wasn't very tasty. Had the turkey melt and my dad had the monte cristo. Turkey was dry and cheese didn't really pull everything together. Probably shouldn't have stopped here. But the server was kind.

good solid reuben here. just off the highway (84) ...a friendly staff. The table we were seated at still had some coffee stains on it from earlier in the day.....but just a minor issue. I'd stop again for the reuben the next time I'm in the area. Fries were OK.....better than average.

The staff is very nice the food is ok Six of us stopped in for lunch. Prices are a little high I thought. My daughter was 1/3 through her bacon cheeseburger when she found a LONG hair inside the meat. The waitress was very apologetic and brought he something else but they left the burger on the bill!!!! The rest of the food was OK nothing spectacular.

We stopped here for lunch while traveling and were pleasantly surprised. With it's small truck stop ambiance, the food was actually very nice. I had turkey, mashed potato, stuffing (didn't eat), and gravy with a side of veg and a salad. Hubby had eggplant parm with spaghetti, garlic bread made from texas toast and a salad. The entire bill was $20 and the food was good. The mashed potato was actually real and the gravy was nice. The portions were a perfect size. The chef/cook was running around the open kitchen doing his thing and kept up with quite a few orders. The food was brought to the table hot. Our waitress Connie was very nice and attentive.

I don't know exactly where this place is located, and definitely could not give directions. It's somewhere near the Poconos. I found Twin Rocks by accident while vacationing in PA with two friends many moons ago. Since we were strapped for cash, we decided to stop at the first place we saw and ask a local where we could get some decent, inexpensive food for dinner. After drawing the short straw (literally), I was made to brave the freezing winter air and inquire about the good eats in...Hamlin? The woman at the gas station told me that "all the kids" hang out at Twin Rocks Restaurant. This may or may not be true, but if it is...I don't even know what to say on that point, really. In truth, it was a little diner frequented by truckers, but it certainly did have an odd, endearing charm. I sort of have a strange affinity for it. Twin Rocks is a little bit country, and reminds me of the truck stops/restaurants out in Wyoming. The staff was incredibly kind and eager to help us, since we were obviously not from the area (and were quite hungry). I definitely felt out of place, but the grilled cheese, tasty waffle fries, honest hospitality, and low prices were just what I needed at the moment. (For full disclosure, I do remember my two friends saying their chicken nuggets tasted like fish sticks, but that's what you get for eating either of those nasty things). Also, my place mat featured a little article titled, "At 90, Betsy Still Rides," and a photo of said woman on a tractor. I still have it.

Lot lizards are real! Go to Twin Rocks to see them. Lot Lizard - "A female who sells her body by going from truck to truck at Truck Stops." There has been several arrests that I know of for prostitution... I grew up near Twin Rocks. Its in an extremely rural area with nothing to do. Thats probably why I spent many nights there during high school to "hang out", drinking coffee at 2 in the morning and smoking cigars. Its embarrassing, but thats all we had. During the day, Twin Rocks is actually nice. Typical diner food and friendly people. There is a gas station across the road that usually has cheap prices.

Went back here earlier this month - got to have my bread again! My Mom had done some sleuthing for me and found out it is distributed by Sysco Systems, and the label is Block and Barrel, non-commercial, you can't buy this bread in any store. JUST as good as I remembered. I was able to bring back some of the bread for family - had to order like 10 orders of toast - but it was worth it - they are now hooked too!

Ate there last week with my dad. It's your basic "A-OK" no frills diner with decent food and good service. We got breakfast and it wasn't the best I've ever had but it fit the bill. If you're hungry and in the area, it's a good stop.

The Food Bitch says: delicious chili, chunky with beef. Perfect grilled cheese; hot crispy crust, creamy cheese. Yum!

I signed up for a Yelp account specifically to give this review. Do not order the "Loaded nachos"... I went for the nachos because I was suspicious of this place, thought that nachos would be a pretty safe bet, and that it would be a difficult item to botch. I was wrong, and it was a pitiful waste of six dollars. Firstly, the ingredients were cold, including melted cheese. This somewhat boggled my mind; I mean... did they first melt it and then cool it in a freezer? Second, it was apparently assembled by someone with no concept of proportions or care for any sort of presentation. It looked as if they put everything in blender in a bold attempt to create the first-ever nacho smoothie. It tasted like it came from their garbage disposal. If you're wondering whether the boneless chicken wings were better, I can tell you that they were... but only just. Obviously prepared from a box, these microwave cheapies were about 90% breading and possibly 10% chicken. I say possibly because although I did not perform DNA tests on the "meat", it did taste vaguely of chicken. Another 7.50 wasted. If I were absolutely forced to eat here again--and it would probably take waterboarding or some grotesque form of torture to do so--I would order the quesadilla. It was the only thing I could actually eat more than a few bites of without the urge to be sick.

Just awful. I feel sort of bad writing this because the staff was very nice but the food is simply bad. We stopped after seeing the sign along the highway and very much regretted that decision.

Near the highway in a resort area keeps them going. Staff was friendly, building was clean, but hash browns were a brick of pressed gator tots like McDonalds? Give up your diner badge!

Great find in the middle is nowhere. Great service. Food arrived quickly and was really tasty. Spaghetti sauce was home made and the meatballs had a great flavor. Great fries too. Crispy on the outside and hot and soft on the inside. Turkey Ruben was one of the best I have had. And prices were very reasonable. Family friendly.

Passing through moving our "stuff" from Ohio to Massachusetts and stopped here for lunch. Great atmosphere and good service. Good meatloaf is hard to find, but this is good place to try it. You won't be disappointed with anything here.

We stop in a lot for pie and coffee. But their dinners are great too. Great deal, easy on the wallet, and quality ingredients and good American fare. Friendly and kind waitstaff. Nice souvenir shop and cool country signs for your second home or lake cabin. It is great to stop here if the rain or snow has the roads difficult to drive, or if you want to have a leisurely chat with someone, they never rush you, and the seating is comfortable and the place relaxed with good background music. Best diner around the area.

I am glad we missed the exit on rt 81 for the cracker barrel. We continued on to rt84 on our way up to MASS. I got on yelp and looked for a place to eat. Up popped Twin Rocks Dinner. What great place it's not often that all 4 people eating have absolutely no complaints about there dishes. I had the bacon blue cheese burger. No preprocessed frozen patties at this place. Just check out my pic!

Not impressed with this place at all. Stopped here on our way home from Wilkes-Barre as our choices were limited once leaving that area without eating. Our expectations were very low for this place and we weren't disappointed. Waitress had the personality of a wet mop. Salad was iceberg lettuce, croutons and 2 cherry tomatoes. Really? I will say the honey mustard dressing was delicious!!! Fries were cold and soggy and looked like they were cooked in old oil based on their color. Oil should be changed every day and fries should have a beautiful golden color to them...these were almost greyishy brown. How do you ruin french fries at a diner??? BBQ sauce on the chicken tasted like ketchup that was dyed brown. Invest in some Baby Ray's if you can't make a half way decent home made BBQ sauce. The home fries that came with the eggs were completely white....don't think they ever hit the grill. I guess since there is nothing else around, this is your only choice so you are at their mercy and they probably know that. We would have been better off at the Subway at the gas station. At least there you know what you will get.

I ate here several times during a family vacation in the area. Great food and great servers! I really enjoyed everything I had, particularly the chipped beef on toast and biscuits and gravy. Delicious!

I liked that Diner. Typical food, not expensive. Their fried potatoes were very good. Service was friendly. Can you ask for more?

"Try the monte cristo, not deep fried - very good! Super friendly and attentive, never felt rushed even though it was past closing. Seasoned waffle fries were awesome....We'll be back:-)"
